SUNU Assurances Motor Insurance policy covers all types of automobiles for both private and commercial uses. It also covers motorcycles and tricycles used by corporate entities. Motor insurance is one of the compulsory insurance classes and anyone using a motor vehicle on the public highway must have it insured.
The Comprehensive Insurance plan covers the loss or damage to insured vehicles as a result of fire, theft, vandalism, accidental damage or collision in addition to the following benefits:
- Accidental damage to the insured vehicle.
- Fire damage due to external explosion, self-ignition or lightning
- Loss or damage due to theft of the vehicle and accessories whilst on the vehicle
- Third party property damage (Limit: N1,000,000)
- Third party bodily injury
- Third party death (Unlimited)
- Malicious damage
- Medical expenses incurred in the course of an accident (Limit: N50,000) – Private Vehicles Only.
- Damage due to Flood (Optional)
- Damage resulting from Riot, Strike and Civil Commotion (Optional).
